Sean Holmes
A better life – that’s the goal that Sean helps his Personal Training clients attain. “Better” in the sense that they lose weight and feel more vibrant and energized. “Better” in the sense that they experience significant improvements in mobility, stability and posture. “Better” in the sense that they achieve noticeable increases in flexibility, strength and power. “Better” in the sense that their quality of life transforms into a quality of LIFE.
Sean has extensive educational qualifications that serve as the foundation for his Personal Training philosophy: From the University of Guelph he obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and from York University a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in Kinesiology. His Personal Trainer certification was acquired through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, an organization through which he also achieved Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) qualifications – the highest internationally recognized certification that exists in this field. With up-to-date continuing education, he ensures that his professional knowledge is always as current as possible, and that he stays informed about new and innovative work-out strategies and the latest scientific studies.
Sports have always held an important place in Sean’s life. He has played professional lacrosse for the Buffalo Bandits, and trained athletes from the National Collegiate Athletic Association (baseball, volleyball and football), the Ontario Hockey League, the National Lacrosse League, the Canadian Football League and the National Hockey League. Having said this, though, it’s important to emphasize that Sean’s focus as far as Personal Training goes is non-athletes who simply want to feel better in their daily lives.
The work-out programs that Sean devises for his clients are tailored to the individual and highly creative, yet based on proven scientific principles. Being trained by Sean, you’ll experience a work-out that’s totally unique –different from anything you’ve ever done before!
